**Future Shop guarantees the workmanship performed by our ConnectPro Experts for the lifetime of the vehicle, including all mounting and wiring, provided no additional service work has taken place other than by an authorized ConnectPro Expert. Lease vehicles - We offer no-charge factory car deck re-installation. If you sell your vehicle or have to return your vehicle to the dealership, we will remove the audio system that we installed and re-install your factory equipment at no charge.

  • Help! I've got a virus or spyware on my computer. Can you help?

    Yes! A ConnectPro Expert is trained to remove any virus or spyware from your computer. Due to the variety and destructive nature of viruses and spyware, the level of difficulty and time to clean will vary. Our ConnectPro Experts will diagnose your computer and get you back up, running and connected.

  • My computer has been acting up lately. How can I tell if I have a virus or spyware?

    If your homepage has changed unexpectedly, or you see lots of pop-ups, or random windows appear asking you to purchase an item, then your computer probably has been victim to some sort of virus or spyware. Other common signs are a slow Internet connection, windows opening and closing on their own, and frequent lock-ups.

  • How can I protect myself from viruses or spyware?

    Once the virus or spyware has been removed from your computer, we suggest protecting it by installing an antivirus/antispyware software package. If your antivirus does not provide a firewall, ensure that the Windows Firewall is enabled and working on your computer. Other software packages offer an all-in-one solution with antivirus, antispyware, a firewall, and automated backup features.

  • Can you set up a home network or repair an existing one?

    Yes! ConnectPro Experts can easily network your computers, laptops, gaming consoles, and even an iPhone. If your product has a network capability then we can hook it up! We suggest you start by making a list of everything you want connected in your home, then give us a call. Share music, video and pictures through a networked PC and your Xbox 360 or PS3; or consider the option of connecting one printer to every PC or laptop in your home - - there are lots of options! If you've lost your wireless connection, contact a ConnectPro Expert to get you back online.

  • My wireless network won't connect. What can I do?

    First, double-check any network names or password you may have created when you set up your network. If that doesn't work, try unplugging your router for about 30 seconds, plug it back in, then restart the computer -- this is a quick fix that may solve some intermittent issues. If you're still having problems and need help with your network or setup, contact ConnectPro.

  • I want to speed up my computer. How can I do it?

    A slow computer can be the result of a variety of factors, including both software and hardware. Software issues such as viruses and spyware, too many startup applications, or not enough space on your hard drive, are just a few of the possibilities. Hardware obstacles like not having enough memory (RAM) in your PC are also quite common. With the current line of operating systems we recommend a minimum of 2 GB of RAM for your computer to run comfortably. Have a ConnectPro Expert evaluate your computer and see what can be done to have your computer running at top speed.

  • How do I choose the version of Windows Vista that's right for me?

    There are four versions of Windows Vista. The majority of PC purchases currently come with Windows Vista Home Premium. If you are in a business environment, or just want to do a little bit more with your PC you may want to upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate.   • Do you offer the same ConnectPro services for in-home and in-store?

    The majority* of services are offered in-home and in-store. Contact ConnectPro to find out what options are available to you.
    *Manufacturer warranty work is performed in-store only.

  • I didn't buy my product from Future Shop. Can you still repair/install products for me?

    We can upgrade or service any brand of computer products. Contact ConnectPro to have all your options explained including the upgrade options available for various brands and models of computers.

  • What kind of training do your Experts go through?

    A+ Certified is the industry standard for technicians in Canada. All in-home ConnectPro Experts are A+ Certified. Our locations are also manufacturer authorized for major brands including Dell, HP, Gateway and Sony.

  • Is there anything I need to prepare before ConnectPro arrives at my home?

    Prepare for your visit with a list of questions, issues, or items you'd like taken care of by your ConnectPro Expert. Provide this information when you set up your appointment to ensure that all work is done efficiently. A person over the age of 19 must also be home at all times during the visit. ConnectPro will provide a time estimate on the job so you can set aside your time accordingly.
